After numerous delays, the upcoming installment of Uncharted has finally “gone gold” according to its developers, Naughty Dog. That means the base game has been completed and is sent out for manufacturing.

Originally, the PlayStation 4-exclusive game was set for release in 2015. After missing two subsequent 2016 release dates, it’s now almost certain that the game will meet its May release date.

One of the game’s directors, Bruce Straley, tweeted that he thinks Uncharted 4 “is the most visually stunning game ever created.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the fourth and final installment of the action-adventure video game series featuring fortune hunter Nathan “Nate” Drake. As of June 2015, the Uncharted series has sold over 21 million copies worldwide.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has a film adaptation of Uncharted scheduled for theatrical release on June 30, 2017. The film has been in development since 2007.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available worldwide on May 10 in both standard ($74.99) and special edition ($99.99) formats.
